Background & Philosophy:

Bootlegger Guitar was born out of a passion for high-quality, boutique instruments, rooted in the founders’ extensive experience in racing and race car design. They apply principles of endurance, performance, and precision engineering—traditionally used in racing—to the craftsmanship of their guitars. This approach ensures their instruments are sonically exceptional, durable, comfortable, and lightweight. But they also must have a soul. Building guitars can produce the same boring old thing. I am a gigging guitar player, and my instruments must excite and become a part of me and the music.
